The New Year, The Boy Friend & The New Francoise

By the time New Year's Eve 2012 came around, I was finally able to complete my edited version of Ken Russell's 'The Boy Friend'. It has been an ongoing quest for me to share this genius vision, something I've elaborated on before. There's been a great response to the video already –– and it was a worthwhile project for me, either way. 

The new year also brought with it a few minor aesthetic changes to Retro Active Critiques. Last week felt like the right time to refresh the look of the site for the first time, which meant another image of Francoise Hardy presiding over things in time for her upcoming birthday.
